SAPS’s Scelo on duty at national golf champs

Scelo was selected but Naomi narrowly missed out, and has vowed to be back next year.

Constable Scelo Ndlovu will be swapping his handcuffs for clubs when he represents the KZN SAPS team at the national SAPS Golf Championships in Potchefstroom in October.

Scelo, who serves in the Dundee SAPS uniform branch, and colleague, Constable Naomi van Huysteen, spent the last week at the SAPS Provincial training camp in Margate. Scelo was selected but Naomi narrowly missed out and has vowed to be back next year. Both are regular golfers in Dundee when they are not fulfilling their policing duties.

Scelo is very excited to be flying the Dundee SAPS flag at the national championships and will be calling on our sponsors to help him make the trip to the North West Province. Anyone who would like to assist Scelo can call him at 073 314 8483.
