Parts of R68 closes as protests get underway
Motorists urged to avoid area as protest action gets underway.
Parts of the R68 road between Dundee and Nquthu have been closed this morning, due to protests in the area. The road has been closed near the Blood River bridge.
Yesterday, community members from the Isandlwana area threatened to close routes today. Warnings were then issued to motorists to steer clear of the area.
It is understood the protests stem from the community wanting a tar road in their area.
