Gymnastics fun at Ichthus

Ichthus welcomes Charlene Jansen van Vuuren of GymKid to the school.
Mrs Jansen van Vuuren travels from Newcastle every Monday to present the GymKid gymnastics programme to the Ichthus Grade R and RR learners.
Not only is GymKid fun and exciting for every learner that participates, it also develops gross motor muscles, depth perception, spatial awareness, body control and balance, posture, self-esteem, cognitive development and hand-eye coordination to name a few.
Whether it is balancing on the balancing beam, swinging on the bar or tumbling on the mat, Ichthus learners enjoy learning and growing through GymKid.
Ichthus is very proud to make such a programme available to its learners.
