Water leak angers Battery Road residents

Although the water is not pouring out, it's a constant trickle every day

Residents are complaining about a water leak in the middle of Battery Road that has been an ongoing problem for a couple of weeks now.

Nothing has been done to remedy the issue after several calls to uThukela.

Although the water is not gushing out, there is a constant trickle on a daily basis.

“It really is ridiculous that the town is facing water shortages, yet a small leak that can be fixed in a few hours is just left unattended, wasting countless litres of water every day. Some service delivery issues must take priority because, although the water is not much of a disturbance, we are paying for it. This is worrying to say the least!” said one unhappy resident.
