Potholes in Parade Road

Motorists say they have to dodge the holes or use alternative routes

Residents and motorists are fed up with the state of Parade Road and the many potholes all over the place.

The multiple holes in the tarmac make it difficult for motorists, who say they have to swerve out of the way and then also dodge other vehicles in order to avoid damaging their cars and having an accident.

“I have to use longer alternative routes to get to my house, just to avoid driving over the potholes, as my vehicle bears the brunt. It is such a struggle! These issues should be a priority to the municipality, but they just don’t seem to care. Potholes are everywhere and getting bigger every day,” said an unhappy Parade Road resident.
