Man in court for murdering friend
The deceased was rushed to a local hospital, but was declared dead on arrival
A 35-year-old man has been charged for the murder of his friend.
He appeared in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court on July 10. According to police, the suspect shot and killed his friend over the weekend.
The incident was reported in Frere.
“The deceased was rushed to a local hospital, but was declared dead on arrival. The firearm that was used in the shooting has been seized by police,” commented SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan.
