Electrical failure could cause water outage

uThukela has issued a statement that they are currently experiencing an electrical failure at the Spioenkop Raw Water Pump Station that is affecting the main incoming supply.

This is likely to result in water shortages in areas such as Observation Hill, Hospital Park, the CBD, Modelkloof and Limit Hill.  

The issue has been reported to Eskom; however, there is no time-frame for repairs as yet.

Residents living in the above-mentioned areas are advised to store water as a precautionary measure.
