uThukela call centre out of order
The public can call 036 638 5100 / 2400 for assistance
uThukela has issued a notice that their call centre lines are temporarily out of order.
According to the district municipality, it is unclear at this stage what has affected the phone lines.
“Telkom has been alerted and we are anticipating their response,” say uThukela.

In the meantime, the call centre function is being operated via the switchboard as a temporary measure until this problem is resolved.
The public is urged to use the following alternative numbers to log water- and sewer-related queries: 036 638 5100 / 2400.
“We appeal to customers to please bear with us, as we are trying our utmost best to manage the situation. We will give updates on progress in due course,” they conclude.
