N11 crash leaves one person dead
The deceased has not yet been officially identified
One person sadly lost their life today (May 28) in a crash on the N11 just before the Driefontein turn-off.
According to officials on scene, it appeared to be a head-on collision with a ‘huge impact’.
One of the vehicles caught alight and Alfred Duma Local Municipality fire-fighters rushed to the scene to put out the fire.
Emergency personnel took one person to hospital.
