Shooting leaves one dead; another severely injured
The pair was shot at while exiting a driveway in Mkamba Park
Estcourt detectives are investigating cases of murder and attempted murder after a fatal shooting last night (February 8).
According to a police report, at about 21.30, two individuals were in a vehicle; exiting a driveway in Mkamba Park when they were shot at.
“The 32-year-old male was fatally wounded and passed on a short while later, while his passenger (40) survived the attack,” said police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan.
The deceased and the passenger sustained several gunshot wounds.
Police say the motive for the attack is unknown.
Police have not formally released the identities of the deceased or the passenger.
