Electrification project given the green light
Residents have been anxiously anticipating the start of this project
January 12 was a bright day for the people of ENgonyameni in Loskop’s Ward 5.
Mayor Mduduzi Myeza introduced the contractor who will be carrying out the long-awaited electrification project in the area.
“This electrification project is part of the municipality’s action plan to eradicate illegal connections by electrifying all wards under Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality. This project consists of 175 household connections and a network upgrade. Kuhle Mcebo Engineers (Pty) Ltd is the appointed contractor entrusted with this very crucial project,” said the mayor in his speech.
The project, which was welcomed by the community of Ward 5, started this month (January).
