Carissa claims the ECA Dux award
Carissa’s dedication throughout the year paid dividends
Elevate Christian Academy (ECA) hosted its annual awards ceremony on December 7.
It was a day of much celebration and pride as learners who excelled academically and on the sporting front were rewarded for their hard work and dedication.
Awardees were recognised from grade 1 to Grade 12.
Carissa Lemmer received the coveted Eskort Ltd Dux award for the Grade 12 graduates and she is to be congratulated for her consistent hard work throughout the year.
The Dux Award is the premier award given to the student with the highest overall ranking in academic achievement for the graduating year. The word Dux is Latin for “leader”, and in schools, it is a modern title given to the top scholar.
The award was presented by Olga Rikhotho, a representative from Eskort Ltd at the Estcourt branch.
