As liquor traders prepared for a busy month-end Saturday (November 26), Loskop (Amangwe) police were preparing for a raid on illegal traders.
On Saturday evening, police intercepted trade at illegal outlets and arrested three men. Aged between 41 and 47, the men were all found to be selling alcohol without a valid liquor licence.
Their stock was confiscated. The trio were charged with contravening the Liquor Act and appeared in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court today (November 28).
