Al-Imdaad hands out water in Ezakheni…

As residents sit with dry taps for weeks

The Al-Imdaad Foundation was seen this morning (November 16) in Ezakheni, handing out water to residents.

It is believed that some areas in Ezakheni have gone without water for about three months, while other areas have been battling with dry taps for a few weeks.

People receive water from the Al-Imdaad Foundation.

Residents are furious with uThukela as their cry for water continues.

The Al-Imdaad Foundation thankfully came to the rescue today. Chairperson Abed Karrim says he ensures that they always do their level best to provide water to all affected residents.

One resident commented that, “It’s so difficult without water, as the kids need to bath before school and we need to cook and wash clothes. Without running water, our lives have been turned upside down.”

Al-Imdaad Foundation trucks are still in the area, handing out water.
