Fatima needs you – become a blood stem cell donor
Get a swab test done tomorrow and you could be a potential blood stem cell donor for Fatima
12-year-old Fatima Moola and her family are going through one of the most challenging times in their life…but you can change that.
Fatima was diagnosed with– B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (B-Cell ALL) in June of this year and since then has spent several months in hospital.
B-Cell ALL a life-threatening blood cancer that affects certain cells in the immune system and is one of the most common types of cancer in children. Symptoms are said to include fatigue, frequent infections and fever.
Fatima had been experiencing flu-like symptoms, coupled with fatigue and body pains before she was diagnosed.
In order to improve her medical condition, Fatima is in desperate need of a blood stem cell donor and you can assist.
All residents are called upon to be part of the donor registration drive for Fatima tomorrow (Saturday, November 12). Swab tests will be done in the municipal parking lot (Victoria Street) from 10:00 until 15:00.
