Al-Imdaad comes to hospital’s rescue

The hospital's storage tank has been filled with 16 kilo-litres of water

Lenmed La Verna Private Hospital staff member Babu Maharaj asked the Al-Imdaad Foundation to come to their rescue this morning (November 11) and fill their JoJo tank.

The foundation obliged and filled the hospital’s storage tank with 16 kilo-litres of water.

Maharaj thanked Al-Imdaad chairperson Abed Karrim for the help. The hospital was worried that the water crisis currently facing the town would be a huge challenge, but now they can rest easy in the knowledge that there’s plenty of water in their JoJo tank.

Karrim commented that they gave priority to the hospital, just like they do for schools and clinics.
