Al-Imdaad helps out during water crisis

Water tankers came to the rescue from Friday to Monday as taps ran dry

Everyone is well aware of the water shortage that various areas of town faced over the weekend. Taps ran dry until late Monday night (November 7).

The community would like to thank and show gratitude to the Al-Imdaad Foundation for supplying water to residents in Acaciavale, Meena & Gaza Place, and Smartiesville.

Al-Imdaad tankers supplied water from Friday (November 4) to Monday (November 7) to most of the areas that were affected.

“The relief efforts undertaken by the Al-Imdaad Foundation are definitely seen and appreciated by the community of Ladysmith,” said one resident, a sentiment that is surely echoed by all.
