Businessmen say they are losing money because of the 'craters' in the road and the terrible smell
Motorists and businesses are not happy at all about the state of Main Road.
The street is dotted with ‘horrific potholes’ and also has a sewer problem that results in a foul odour hanging in the air all the time. This means that motorists are swerving all over the place to avoid damage to their tyres, and businesses say they are losing clients.

“My business is affected because the sewer and potholes are right in front of my premises. Having to smell that rotten stench every day is upsetting. The problem never seems to go away and no one bothers to come and carry out repairs,” said one irate businessman.
At the time of publishing, the municipality had not commented on the matter.
