Kartik celebrations kick off at the temple
There will be various celebrations during this auspicious month
Iskcon Estcourt hosted the auspicious ‘first day of Kartik’ celebrations at the temple on October 9.
The month of Kartik is observed by offering ghee wick lamps to Lord Krishna every day. Celebrations began as early as 05:00 and throngs of eager participants attended to offer lamps throughout the day.
The afternoon festival was a huge success; the temple room was filled with vibrancy and cheerful devotees.
Iskcon Estcourt offers its heartfelt gratitude to all the devotees, sponsors and friends who helped make this festival a success.
The special guest of honour was Sushila Ramcharan.
