Good Samaritans lend a helping hand

The Geza Izandla Association, Al-Imdaad Foundation, Acaciavale Association and Mr Wood came to the rescue in this time of need

The Geza Izandla Association, Al-Imdaad Foundation, Acaciavale Association and Mr Wood have been helping with the water situation in town by supplying this precious resource to community members in need.

On Tuesday (August 30), Geza Izandla and the Acaciavale Association visited certain areas like Kandahar Avenue, Drividian Road, Lucknow Road, Saffa Street, Bengal Road, Meena and Gaza Place to hand out five-litre bottles of water to families who are without.

Al-Imdaad and Mr Wood were also seen moving around with their water tankers.

These individuals took time out of their busy schedules to help the community, using their petrol and personal funds to bring relief.

The Al-Imdaad Foundation was also out today (August 31) at the Acaciavale Clinic to refill the JoJo tanks.
