R103 closed due to protest action

A service delivery protest has once again caused the closure of parts of the R103.

This alternative route is closed from Hospital Hill to Mimosadale.

Law enforcement officers are on scene.

Traffic coming into or leaving Estcourt is being diverted to the N3 via the Wembezi or Loksop off-ramps.

Frequent service delivery protests have been staged in this area due to the continued water interruptions that have plaguing residents for months.
