Four-year-old raped in Bergville
A suspect has been arrested and is under guard in hospital
A four-year-old child was allegedly raped on Sunday morning (July 24).
The incident is said to have taken place on a farm in the Acton Homes area of Bergville.
It is alleged that the victim and a 10-year-old were ‘answering nature’s call’ (relieving themselves) when the suspect pounced and sexually assaulted the younger of the two children.
The brave 10-year-old began screaming for help and even went so far as to bite the suspect.

A 41-year-old has been arrested and is currently being guarded in hospital.
