Clean-up crew member killed on the N3 near Loskop

Tragedy struck on the N3 near the Loskop flyover this morning (June 22) when one person was killed.

It is alleged that the deceased was part of the clean-up crew that was busy clearing the road after two trucks had collided there just after midnight.

While busy with work, the man was hit by a truck.

An emergency worker on scene said that a truck travelling on the northbound lane veered off the road onto the southbound, killing the clean-up staff member.
