Lucky escape as car crashes into tree
No one was injured in the crash
Public Safety officials responded to a crash in Princess Street this afternoon (May 10).
A car veered off the road and smashed into a tree in someone’s yard.
The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, had a lucky escape and did not sustain any injuries.
The people who live at the address where the accident happened say they heard a loud bang and looked out the window to see what was going on. They were shocked to see a car in their yard.

Towing services also responded to the scene.
