Second EP release for Winterton musician

His latest EP, entitled ‘Izinyembezi’ (My Tears), is one that was borne from personal encounters

Music has been a central point in Thembelani Theboy Khoza’s life since he was a child. In fact, he says he was born with music flowing through his veins.

With the release of his second Extended Play (EP) record in October last year, this is validation that he is destined to pursue a career he is passionate about… music.

The 32-year-old was born in Winterton and currently lives with his parents, holding down a job as a barman. Known as ‘Sdiboh’ in the music industry, his music is a fusion of hip-hop and rap.

His latest EP, entitled ‘Izinyembezi’ (My Tears), is one that was borne from personal encounters.

“Memories from my childhood inspire me, as well as the things I’ve been through. I am also motivated by the lives we are living now. Some people are unemployed and are broke, while others need spiritual healing and comfort. I think that if you listen to those six songs on the EP, it can inspire anyone to keep hustling,” he says.

It has been said that the music on the EP makes for pleasurable listening for any age group, but Sdiboh says it should really appeal to the youth.

He worked with Vince Dee as well as Rosh Musician, GTI Beats and Gney on the EP.

“My favourite song is ‘Don’t Worry, Child’ because it emphasises that you should not throw in the towel under any circumstances. You must always believe that there’s a better place where you’ll find peace, so that you learn to appreciate the little things you have,” Sdiboh says.

The EP is available on YouTube and if you’d like to get in touch with Sdiboh on social media, here’s how: Facebook page: Sdiboh Sa; Personal account: Sdiboh Theboy; Instagram: Sdiboh; Twitter: Sdiboh1; TikTok: SdibohTheboy; WhatsApp: 079 726 4606.
