Help leukaemia patient by doing a swab test

Persons between the age of 18 and 55 are encouraged to do a test and see if they are a match

13-year-old Mohammed Zaeem Khan was diagnosed with leukaemia last year.

His family is now looking for a donor whose healthy stem cells could replace his own. Mohammed’s stem cells have been destroyed by radiation and high doses of chemotherapy.

Persons between the age of 18 and 55, with no underlying health issues, are encouraged to do a swab test to see if they are a match.

Mohammed is currently at Albert Luthuli Hospital in Durban, undergoing intense treatment for his life-threatening leukaemia.
