A crash took place in Poort Road this morning (April 10).
A double-cab bakkie was heading up around the bend towards Harrismith Road when the driver lost control. The vehicle slid off the road in the wet weather conditions.
The entire front-end of the bakkie was damaged.

The driver had a lucky escape and emerged with no injuries.
Police responded to the scene.
