ESTCOURT KZN: Enterprising Emma supports animal welfare
Emma raised enough money from the sales to buy a cat carrier and cat food, which she donated to the Estcourt Animal Shelter
Emma Bure (10) is an enterprising young lass who is spreading goodwill to the cats at the Estcourt Animal Shelter.
Emma, assisted by her mom and Sherlene Gericke, made and sold hair scrunchies.
These were sold at the Christmas Market, as well as to friends and other supporters.
Emma raised enough money from the sales to buy a cat carrier and cat food, which she donated to the Estcourt Animal Shelter.
With continued sales from the hair scrunchies, which will again be on sale at the Valentine’s Day Market on February 5, Emma hopes to carry on contributing to the welfare of the animals at the shelter.
