ESTCOURT KZN: School leaps into the digital age

“The only way to modernise the way of teaching and learning is to modernise resources and equipment”

INkosi Tatazela High School in kwaBhekuzulu has taken a giant leap into the world of technology when the learners and educators received state-of-the-art digital equipment.

This was presented to the appreciative school fraternity on October 19 by Education MEC Kwazi Mshengu and was described as a ‘huge milestone in the history of the school’.

Apart from a media centre and digital library with wif-fi, the school also received computer and science laboratories, smart classrooms and educators received laptops.

According to the MEC, the quality of this material will help local teachers, in their lessons, to collaborate easily with teachers from other parts of the world.

“The only way to modernise the way of teaching and learning is to modernise resources and equipment,” Mr Mshengu said.
