Ladysmith KZN: Blood donor clinic open on Heritage Day

Donors are asked to dress up in their cultural attire for the occasion

The Ladysmith Blood Donor Clinic at San Marco / Pick n Pay Centre will be open on Heritage Day.

The staff encourage people of all races to not only come and donate, but also dress up in their traditional attire for the occasion.

Clinic supervisor Ms Zikhona Lupondo said, “We are a South African National Blood Service (SANBS) centre and blood is something that is common in all of us. It doesn’t matter what race we are, the blood remains the same, so we would like to see people of all races coming in their cultural attire, as we want to embrace diversity. We are known as the Rainbow Nation, after all!”
