Ladysmith KZN: Mrs SA semi-finalist thanks you for your votes

"I have become a symbol of hope, encouraging others to follow their dreams and never dim their light for anyone" says Dr Ntshangase

Doctor Ayanda Ntshangase’s journey at this year’s Mrs South Africa pageant has come to an end. Dr Ntshangase successfully made it to the semi-finals, but unfortunately did not make the top 25.

The top 25 were announced at a Winter Ball which was held at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg last weekend.

Dr Ntshangase said she had an amazing weekend and considers herself to be a winner even though she didn’t make it all the way to the finals

The highlight for her was meeting empowering women like Cathy Heaton and Margaret Hirsch, whom she now looks up to. “I have become a symbol of hope, encouraging others to follow their dreams and never dim their light for anyone,” she enthused.

”Growing up, I always loved modelling, but my career choice and the fact that I could not afford it at the time meant that I had to let that dream go. Mrs SA has now been the wind beneath my wings, allowing me to revive and live my dreams.”

Dr Ntshangase would like to thank all those who helped her make the semi-finals by voting for her. “I am honoured to have been part of this prestigious platform and will take back all the memories and lessons learnt.”
