Ladysmith KZN: Drakensberg FC hope to win play-offs in Richards Bay

Today (August 18), the Drakensberg FC soccer team (also known as Abaqulusi) departed for the ABC Motsepe League play-offs, to be held this coming weekend at the Richards Bay Sports Complex.

They will be playing their first game on Friday, kicking off at 2pm.

Team manager Maskito Hadebe said they opted to go early so that the players can get used to the climate, since Richards Bay is on the coast and is warmer in winter than Ladysmith.

The team is wished all the best as they attempt to win the play-offs and make it into the ABC Motsepe League.
