Ladysmith KZN: Bakkies collide head-on in Centenary Road

SAPS, Public Safety and towing services responded to the scene

Two bakkies were involved in a head-on collision on Monday afternoon (July 26) in Centenary Road.

No one was injured in the crash, but a light pole was damaged. The drivers of the respective vehicles were taken home by family members.

Police and Public Safety responded to the scene.

Towing services also responded and removed the white Ford Ranger and grey Nissan Navara.

Bystanders said they heard a loud bang and rushed out of their homes to see what had happened. “I heard the sound of tyres screeching and glass shattering,” commented one bystander.
