ESTCOURT KZN: Protest action flares up at town’s entry points (WATCH)

Large rocks and burning tyres were placed across both the intersections

The R103 and R74 at the Weenen turn-off was the scene of more protest action today (July 10) as supporters of the ‘Free Zuma’ campaign continue to call for Jacob Zuma’s release from incarceration at the Estcourt Correctional Centre.

Large rocks and burning tyres were placed across both the intersections at one of Estcourt’s entry points.

While across town on the Old Main Road (R103), law enforcement officers are on scene clearing away burnt debris from protest action that took place earlier.
