Ladysmith KZN: Truck driver robbed at gunpoint on N3

The suspects held a gun to his head and ordered him to lie on the ground

At midnight last night (July 8), a truck driver who was travelling on the N3 near the Bergville Toll Plaza was held up and robbed.

He pulled over to the side of the road when three suspects approached him, two of whom were in possession of firearms. They put a gun to his head and demanded that he lie on the ground.

The robbers then searched his pockets and stole his wallet (containing an undisclosed amount of money and his ID), as well as clothing and his cellphone.
