DUNDEE KZN: Woman hit by truck at notorious corner

A woman has been rushed to hospital after she was hit by a truck at the notorious Gladstone/ Victoria Street intersection.

It’s understood that the woman was dragged under the truck before the driver realised what had happened. A car guard, who witnessed the accident, alleged that the truck driver was on his phone at the time and drove through a red robot.

Emergency services and Good Samaritans were quick to respond and assist the woman. She suffered serious injuries to her leg. She was taken to hospital for treatment. SAPS are investigating the incident.
