Ladysmith KZN: Reason why residents are battling without water
Normal supply and pressure should be back by lunchtime in most areas
This morning (July 3), the Acaciavale, Rose Park and Hillside areas are without water.
According to uThukela spokesperson Jabulani Mkhonza, due to logistical issues brought about by the technical challenges at the Ezakheni Water Treatment Works (WTW), they are experiencing low water levels in the command reservoirs supplied by this plant.

“We have, however, resolved the issues and the plant is operational at its maximum capacity to ensure that the reservoir levels are improved,” says Mkhonza.
