Ladysmith KZN: 1 injured as car crashes in Cemetery Street

One person was injured in a crash in Cemetery Street yesterday afternoon (Friday, June 25).

It is believed that the driver of a VW Polo travelling towards Steadville lost control going around the bend and veered off the roadway, hitting a huge rock.

The driver was rushed to hospital by ambulance to be treated for the injuries sustained.

Public Safety, ambulance services and towing services responded to the scene.

Public Safety officials helped to control traffic so that cars could pass with caution until the scene was cleared.
