Ladysmith KZN: Power failure in parts of town
The electricity outage has been reported to the municipality
Update: According to Alfred Duma Local Municipality spokesperson Siya Maphalala, the reason for the power outage is an overload at the Jantha Street substation. Municipal electricians are in the process of restoring the electricity supply. The municipality says that power should be up soon. Â
This morning (June 2), areas such as Hospital Park, Acaciavale and the CBD are experiencing a power failure.
The matter has been reported to the municipality by many residents and councillors.

Alfred Duma Local Municipality urges everyone to be patient and remain calm while they investigate the cause of the electricity outage and attend to the problem.
