Ladysmith KZN: Taps in Acaciavale run dry for 4 days
Up until now, the issue has not been sorted out...
Frustrated residents in the Acaciavale area have gone without water since Friday (May 14)
Councillor Abbas Warasally reported the issue to uThukela and he says they promised to fix the problem today (May 17). However, up until now (Monday evening, 6.45pm), the matter has not been sorted out.
Cllr Warasally explains that he is fed up with the fact that ‘uThukela didn’t even bother to send out water tankers’.

Residents are now demanding to know when their water supply will be restored. “We don’t have water to cook, bath or wash our dishes,” said a Protea Drive resident.
uThukela has been approached for comment, but none had been received at the time of publishing.
