40 people injured in tanker and bus collision near Mooi River on the N3

Emergency personnel are at the scene of a tanker and bus fire along the N3 at the Hidcote intersection, near Mooi River.

A bus and tanker were involved in a collision, also involving multiple secondary vehicles on the N3 northbound.

Four people were critically injured and over 40 people were reported to have sustained minor to serious injuries.

Fire services are on scene, battling the blaze.

It is unknown at this stage if any fatalities have occurred.
