Ladysmith KZN: Delivery vehicle hijacked in Murchison Street, recovered in Limit Hill

Police and Ladysmith K9 officers responded to both scenes

A delivery vehicle was hijacked earlier today (April 20) in Murchison Street.

It is believed that the vehicle was hijacked in the parking lot behind the old Standard Bank.

The suspects left one of the delivery guys in the parking area and pushed the other one into the back of the bakkie they were stealing.

They then drove off, with the employee locked in the back, finally abandoning the bakkie in Second Avenue, Limit Hill.

The suspects sped off in an unknown vehicle, getting away with cell-phones.
