MOOI RIVER KZN: Man shot dead after alleged argument with security guard
A 25-year-old male was shot by a security guard on the thigh after an argument
A case of murder is being investigated by the Mooi River police after a man was shot at the Mpofana Municipality on Tuesday afternoon.
Police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele said that police received the alert at about 12.15pm and when proceeded to the scene.
“On arrival they were informed that a 25-year-old male was shot by a security guard on the thigh after an argument. The victim was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injury,” commented Colonel Mbele.
The 31-year-old security guard has been arrested and appeared in the Mooi River Magistrate’s Court where he faces charges of murder.
