According to uThukela District communications manager Jabulani Mkhonza, due to low bulk water levels in the reservoirs, it did not make it possible to keep to the water-shedding schedule.

“We are currently busy filling up the reservoirs. If all goes well between 5pm to 10pm (October 21), we will start pumping from the golf course to Observation Hill in order to supply the surrounding areas up to Danskraal Industrial area,” added Mkhonza.
