ESTCOURT: Zanibusa Unit is growing a love for nature
"Let us apply the 'One Home, One Garden' principle; we won't regret it,"
To celebrate Garden Day (October 11), the Zanibusa Unit got busy tending to their garden.
The group – which is made up of Scouts, Girl Guides and Brownies from the Riverdale Unit in Esigodlweni – diligently cleaned up and watered the plants while learning more about the environment.

Unyaka Wakho Youth Foundation Advocates for Change founder Deborah Gamede said the day brought new understanding for the young members.
“We are instilling the love of nature while they are still young. They must learn to appreciate and take care of the environment, as well as being responsible citizens of South Africa. Let us apply the ‘One Home, One Garden’ principle; we won’t regret it,” said Mrs Gamede.
The Zanibusa Unit is the brainchild of the Unyaka Wakho Youth Foundation Advocates for Change.
