NEHAWU honours front-line workers

The union held a motorcade through the streets of Ladysmith

Ladysmith KZN: Yesterday (September 2), the National Education, Health & Allied Workers Union (NEHAWU) conducted a motorcade through the streets of Ladysmith in recognition of all the front-line workers who have put their lives on the line while working hard during the national lockdown period.

“As part of showing recognition for the good work and sacrifice demonstrated by front-line workers in saving the lives of South Africans at the expense of their own, the national union encouraged all motorists to hoot in support. We visited the places of work of all the front-line workers, thanking them for their contribution thus far,” read a statement from NEHAWU Regional Secretary Ntokozo Nxumalo.
