Community outreach programme to assist those in need

"Many families are struggling to make ends meet at this time... the least we can do is to try and support them and give what we can."

The Black Child Foundation (BCF), in partnership with Dr Mbatha and Dr Mabizela, went on a community outreach programme to deliver grocery packs to the community of Section 3 and 7, in Madadeni earlier this month.

“This partnership is aimed at trying to assist in providing some relief and assistance to those communities affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Many families are struggling to make ends meet at this time. The least we can do is to try and support them and give out what we can. We have worked with businesses, professionals and individuals. We continue to urge all those who would like to assist, to contact us,” said Scelo Ndwanwe, BCF Chairperson.

The foundation thanked everyone who continuously supported all their Covid-19 initiatives, to try and curb the scourge of poverty in Newcastle communities.
