Load-shedding: here is the schedule for your area
Stage 1 and 2 load-shedding is underway - use the zoning diagram to see when your power will be affected.
If you have not already received the load-shedding schedule, below is a copy issued by the Newcastle Municipality.
According to the schedule, each zone represents the areas which will be affected by load-shedding.
Zone 1 – Karbochem and Traction
Zone 2 – Riverside A and B
Zone 3 – Central A
Zone 4 – Lennoxton
Zone 5 – Townlands
Zone 6 – Glen
Zone 7 – Central B
Eskom is currently shedding electrical loads at Stages 1 and 2. Identify the zone you are in with the corresponding zoning diagram to see what time your power will be off.
