The Newcastle Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) Youth desk is currently running a My Business Journey competition.

The Amajuba District Municipality and the Small Enterprises Development Agency (SEDA) support the competition.

Entries closed on the June 7, and organisers said they received a positive response from youth in business.

They congratulate the following five young entrepreneurs who will progress to the next stage of the competition:

  • Mbali Pinky Mdladla of Hlanganisa Mathiyane (Pty) Ltd.
  • Sisanda Dludlu of Ekuphileni Pharmacy in Madadeni.
  • Muzi Mustafa of Madimadi Trading Enterprise (Pty) Ltd.
  • Linda Phikela Zwane of Raven Keeds Trading Enterprise (Pty) Ltd and
  • Nomalungelo Dlamini of Amadlela Aluhlaza in oSizweni.

The community is encouraged to cast their votes on its YouTube channel, My Business Journey Competition and Facebook page My Business Journey Competition.

“We want to encourage entrepreneurs to never give up on their dreams and consult the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce and Industry and SEDA for assistance. Amajuba District Municipality is providing a great platform for young entrepreneurs to explore the opportunities found in the district,” concluded organisers.
