Gift of the Givers sweeten the deal

200 more people benefited from the Gift of the Givers’ Covid-19 relief efforts last Thursday. The team made its first stop in Hlatikhulu, where 100 food parcels were distributed to residents.

To sweeten the deal, the food packages contained treats such as Future Life instant porridge, Nescafé Gold instant cappuccino coffee and Lindt chocolates.

“We were warmly welcomed by Inkosi Mkhize at the tribal office, and people were eagerly awaiting our arrival,” said Jaaved Khan from the Gift of the Givers Estcourt branch.

Then it was on to Ntabamhlophe, where food parcels were distributed in Sobabili and Mdwebu with the help of Freeman Mpembe, the acting manager of the Mayor’s Office for Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality.
“All parties were extremely grateful and appreciated the parcels received,” concluded Mr Khan.
